I’ve committed to sleeping in my car overnight this August – it’s a bad night’s sleep for a good cause.
The increased cost of living, impact of domestic violence, and lack of affordable housing are all factors contributing to a homelessness crisis in Australia. I’ve joined Sleep In Your Car to raise awareness and vital funds to help families find a safe home. By giving up one night of comfort, I am raising awareness and vital funds to help end homelessness.

Good on you Lee for doing this. It's difficult to imagine what it is like for people sleeping in their cars, particularly in winter. It is shameful that in our society we have so many women and children having to resort to their cars for accommodation and safety. And they are the lucky ones who have cars!
