I'm taking action to help end homelessness.

I’ve committed to sleeping in my car overnight this October – it’s a bad night’s sleep for a good cause.

The increased cost of living, impact of domestic violence, and lack of affordable housing are all factors contributing to a homelessness crisis in Australia. I’ve joined Sleep In Your Car to raise awareness and vital funds to help families find a safe home. By giving up one night of comfort, I am raising awareness and vital funds to help end homelessness.

Last night was Miss Hannah’s night!

Saturday 25th Oct
Last night with the help of her daddy and brothers, we set up the back of mums car under the trees on our property. Of course this wasn’t a true representation of what homelessness is about, and sleeping in your car, but we wanted to make the experience as comfy as possible for Miss 11. We got through the night! Well done to our girl for setting her mind on this fundraiser - and completing it - a huge success and lots of snuggles and snores with Mumma !!

Friday 17th Oct
Thankyou to everyone who has donated for Hannah’s fundraising mission. She is really proud of herself and has even been getting mail from Mission Australia - it’s a very inspiring goal that this champion, thoughtful and kind little girl is doing.

At this stage we are hoping to do our sleep out next weekend - we have some fairy lights and we are getting a square of fake grass as our doormat. 

The back of my car will have a blow up bed and a doona - our pillows and we will watch movies and have snacks until we fall asleep.

A small idea that she had  - hoping to get a small amount of money with her first goal of $250.

She’s absolutely smashing it and the best part about it is she’s proud of herself. She is an absolute joy and purely believes she can change the world. 

And if she continues to grow and inspire not only herself but everyone around her - there is no limit to what she can achieve.

Her family are so incredibly proud. What an awesome kid.
