I'm taking action to help end homelessness.

It’ll be a bad night’s sleep for a good cause.

I’ve committed to sleeping in my car overnight ahead of World Homelessness Day (October 10).

I’m doing so because the increased cost of living, impact of domestic violence and lack of affordable housing are all factors contributing to a homelessness crisis in Australia.

By giving up one night of comfort to join Sleep In Your Car, I’m raising awareness and vital funds to help families find a safe home.

This will be my bed on Friday. It’s the boot and back seats of a Toyota Yaris. I’m sleeping in my car to hit the brakes on homelessness and help those who don’t a choice.

To reach my bold fundraising goal, I’m asking just three of you to give $75 tonight. That’s enough to provide counselling or school items for a child who’s experienced homelessness.
