We start with just 2 people passionate about homelessness issues in Australia, especially in our beloved Yarra Valley communities.Many of us are not aware of our homeless and those in danger of being homeless living amongst us. As our valley are vast and we tend to look away while those experiencing hardship shy away from public eye and try to hide. But, no more!
We refuse to let anyone perish in silence. Homelessness is a public responsibility, there is no magic cure. Stop saying, it's not my problem because you are surely not the solution. But Together, We are!
It is time to stand out, be seen, be counted and to make generational change. Join our team this winter, Saturday, 08/08, Yarra Valley Sleep In Your Car, Be Seen, safely and let's make a little difference that matter.
Whether you are joining us by sleeping in your own car, park somewhere at your own chosen safe place, or by joining us as a group, sleeping in our own car, park together somewhere safe in Lilydale, Victoria 3140 (TBA - RSVP), we'll be saying Hello and Goodnight via Zoom to each others before bedtime.
